Take a look at the new menu from The Hayloft Bar & Grill, situated at Bodnant Welsh Food in Conwy Valley. They are currently offering a FREE bottle of wine when you dine during the week.

This new seasonal menu created by Head Chef Clare showcases the fantastic locally sourced produce and speciality cuts of meat within the Conwy Valley, the majority of which can be purchased from the Bodnant Welsh Food Farm Shop.

The Hayloft restaurant is beautifully decorated from the outside-in. We were greeted to this spacious and well-decorated outdoor dining space before making our way to the bar area.

The bar room is bright and fresh, whilst also maintaining a traditional charm with the fireplace and surrounding sofas. The restaurant area continuous the perfect hybrid of traditional and modern - I can see why this is a popular venue for weddings.

We decided to dine in the bar area for better lighting: I wanted to show off the new small plates menu in all their glory.

Close-up of the s’mores

This meal was an absolute treat. They showcased the best of the local produce perfectly. The dishes all had a great little spin on classics, and were wonderfully displayed without being pretentious. The staff were all so welcoming from the moment we arrived and when we left. I cannot wait to come back and try some more things from the menu, especially their Sunday roasts.
